Segment Your Talk in Case You Run Out of Time

 

Take 1

Here the speaker has prepared his talk in a sequential fashion.  When he finds himself short on time, he has to rush to his last slide, which does not make sense after skipping several slides.

Take 2

Sometimes a speaker runs out of time due to reasons beyond his or her control.  Here the speaker has segmented his talk.  When he finds himself short on time, he is able to skip one section, but still conclude in an understandable fashion.
